Aadoo ka Achaar

 

Ingredients

  • Quantity: 2.25 kgs. (Appx.)
  • 2 kgs. peaches (aadoo)
  • 100 gms. vinegar (sirka)
  • 100 gms. salt
  • 50 gms. red chilli (lal mirch) ground
  • 50 gms. mustard (rai)
  • 1 tsp. fenugreek seeds (methidana)
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)

Method

Wash and wipe peaches. Make them dry and cut in pieces of your choice.

Coarsely grind rai and methi and mix with the other spices.

Put the pieces of peaches in a jar.

Dissolve all the spices in sirka. Pour it in the jar. Shake the jar to turn over and mix the pickle together.

Cover and keep the jar either under the Sun or at some safe place in the house. Shake and turn the jar daily.

Start consuming after 4-5 days.
