Aam Ki Chutney

 

Ingredients

Quantity: 2 cups (Appx.)

  • 3 large mangoes raw
  • 0.5  tsp. asafoetida (heeng)
  • 1 piece ginger (adrak) chopped
  • 1 tsp. chilli (powder)
  • 1 tbsp. mint (pudina)
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • juice of 1 lemon

Method

Peel mangoes, remove its pulp and discard the stones.

Grind heeng, mango pulp, adrak, mirch, pudina, jeera, sugar and salt well.

If it is thick, add some water. Whip till a fine puree is prepared.

Put in a serving dish. Add lemon juice and keep in the refrigerator and serve cold.
