Adrak Ka Achaar
Ingredients
Quantity: 1.5 kgs. (Appx.)
- 1k ginger (adrak)
- 50 gms. salt
- 50gms. turmeric (haldi) powder
- 50gms. chilli (mirch) ground
- 50gms. mustard (rai)
- 25gms. king’s cumin (ajwain)
- 25gms. nigella (kalaunji)
- 25gms. fenugreek seeds (methidana)
Method
Scrape adrak. Wash and cut it in pieces.
Coursely grind rai and methi and mix them with the other masaias.
Mix oil with the masala thoroughly.
Add adrak pieces and put them in a glass jar.
Start consuming after a week.
This pickle cures gastric troubles and brings vigour and vitality to the body.
