Aloo Bhukare Ka Murabba

 

Ingredients

Quantity: 2.75 kgs. (Appx.)

  • 1.25 kgs. plums (aloo bukjara) ripe
  • 1.25 kgs. Sugar
  • 1.5 glasses of water

Method

Wash aloobukharas with clean water and remove its skin with the help of a knife.

Mix 1.5 glasses of water with sugar and prepare its syrup (ek tar ki chashni).

When the syrup is ready, add aloobukharas. Bring to a boil

and switch the heat off.

Remove aloobukharas after 20-22 hours and boil the syrup again. Add aloobukharas.

Let it come to a boil and remove from heat.

Cool and store in a martban.
