Aloo Ka Achaar
ingredients
- Quantity: 750 gms. (Appx.)
- 500 gms. small potatoes
- 125gms. black mustard oil
- 20 gms. red chilli powder (lal mirch)
- 25 gms. mustard (rai) ground
- 1.5 tsp. salt
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 0.25 tsp. turmeric (haldi) powder
Method
Boil potatoes, peel and keep aside.
Heat one tbsp. oil in a pan. Fry onion till brownish. Add rai, mirch powder, haldi and salt. Switch off the heat.
Mix the spices with the boiled potatoes. Stir gently and fill it in a jar.
Add the remaining oil and keep the jar under the Sun. Use after 3-4 days.
