Bel Ka Murabba

 

Ingredients

Quantity: 4 kgs. (Appx.)

  • 2 kgs. wood apple (bel) ripe
  • 2 kgs. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cardamom (ilaichee) ground
  • 2.5 cups of water

Method

Peel bels. Chop in round slices. Steam cook these pieces till soft.

Mix 2.5 cups of water with sugar and prepare its syrup on low heat.

Bring a to it boil and add ilaichi.

When the syrup is ready, add bel pieces. Turn the heat off.

Cool and store in a martban.
