Harad Ka Murabba
Ingredients
Quantity: 1.75 kgs. (Appx.)
- 500 gms. ginger (adrak)
- 1 kg. sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1.5 glasses of water
Method
Scrape adrak and pierce it with a fork. Chop it in pieces of one inch size each.
Dip the adrak pieces in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and spread under the Sun for 30 minutes.
Prepare syrup by mixing 1.5 glasses of water with sugar.
When the syrup (ek tar ki chashni) is ready, add adrak pieces.
When the syrup thickens, pour sirka in the pan. Boil for 2 minutes and turn the heat off.
Cool and store in a martban.
