Kacche Aam Ka Murabba
Ingredients
Quantity : 2.25 kgs. (Appx.)
- 1 kgs. pieces of ripe mangoes
- 1 kgs. sugar
- 1 tsp. cardamom (ilaichee) ground
- 0.5 tsp. black pepper (kali mirch)
- 0.5 tsp. saffron (kesar)
Method
Mix 1.5 glasses of water with sugar and prepare its syrup (chashni).
When the syrup becomes ready, add mango pieces.
Add ilaichee, kali mirch and kesar after two minutes. Gently mix together with your hands.
When the chashni thickens, switch off the heat.
Cool and store in a martban and serve.
