Mango Jam

Ingredients

Quantity: 8 cups (Appx.)

  • 50 gms almonds (badaam) peeled
  • 4 cups pulp of raw mangoes
  • A pinch of edible yellow colour
  • (khanewala peela rang)
  • 1 tsp. pistachio (pista) chopped
  • 3 cups sugar

Method

Grind badaam, edible colour and pista with some water to a paste.

Mix sugar with one cup of water. Cook on low heat.

When sugar is dissolved, add mango pulp. Stir all the time.

When the pulp softens, add the ground ingredients and mix together thoroughly.

Store in jars while jam is still hot.
