Sabut Nimboo Ka Achaar

Ingredients

  • Quantity: 3 kgs. (Appx.)
  • 2.5 kgs. lemons (nimboo)
  • 50gms. black pepper (kali mirch)
  • 100gms. salt
  • 15gms. black salt (kala namak)
  • 20gms. garam masala powder

Method

Wash 1.5 kgs. lemons and wipe them thoroughly. Pierce each lemon with a fork and put them in a martban.

Add both the salts, garam masala and kali mirch.

Extract the juice of the remaining lemons and pour it in the martban. Shake well and keep the martban under the Sun.

Shake the martban daily twice or thrice.

Use this achaar after 15-20 days.
