Seb ki Chutney
Ingredients
Quantity: 1.5 kgs. (Appx.)
- 1 kg. green apples
- 150 ml. water
- 175gms. brown sugar (shakkar)
- 0.5tsp. garam masala powder
- 1 tsp. chilli powder
- 1 tsp. garlic (lahsun) paste
- 300 ml. vinegar (sirka)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. mint leaves (pudina) chopped
Method
Peel apples and chop in pieces. Put in a sauce pan and add water.
Mix shakkar, garam masala, mirch powder, lahsun, sirka and namak thoroughly and pour it on the apples.
Keep the sauce pan on low heat. Cook till water dries out. Stir occasionally.
Add pudina. Mix together and remove from heat.
When cooled, fill in a jar and store in a refrigerator and taste it.
