Til Ki Chutney

 

Ingredients

Quantity: 4.5 cups (Appx.)

  • 4 cups sesame seeds (til)
  • 1 bunch of green coriander (hara
  • dhania) leaves
  • 0.5 cup mint (pudina) leaves
  • 8green chillies (hari mirch)
  • chopped
  • 1cup thick tamarind (imli) juice
  • 1cup water
  • 2tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar (optional)

Method

Roast tils in a kadahi till reddish and keep aside.

Cool the tils and grind coarsely.

Grind it with hara dhania, pudina, hari mirch, imli juice, water, salt and sugar to a fine paste.

Fill this chutney in an air-tight jar, store in a refrigerator and serve.
