Tomato Jam

 

Ingredients

Quantity: 1 kgs. (Appx.)

  • 500 gms. tomatoes
  • 500 gms. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar (sirka)

Method

Put tomatoes in warm water for 2-3 minutes and remove the skin.

Cook the peeled tomatoes mixed with sugar.

When sugar dissolves and all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly, then pour sirka.

Mix and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and store in a wide mouthed bottle while still hot.
