The beautiful Monika knew that Sunny had
relatively little experience as a lover, and she was
surprised when he parked the car in the dark and
romantic spot, then swept her into a passionate
embrace. After several minutes filled with kisses,
he drew back rather proudly, straightened his tie,
and asked, “How was that?”
“You know, Sunny,” she confided, “You’re
the first man I’ve met whose kisses make me sit
up and open my eyes.”
“Really?” he said, quite obviously pleased.
“Yes,” she admitted, “Usually, they have the
opposite effect.”

Sue lay sprawled in sweet exhaustion on
the bed, wearing a red ribbon in her bright blonde
hair. Beside her, wearing not even a ribbon, Mark
slowly lit two cigarettes and passed one to her.
For a long moment, smoke and silence hung in
the air. Then :
“My mother always told me to be good,”
She said with a little smile, “Was I?”

Spencer, the well-tailored man about town,
walking ruefully out of court after getting stung
by the decision in a paternity suit, was overheard
To remark:
When I make a beaut, it’s a mistake.

Two well-dressed, matronly women entered
the business office and approached an executive.
“Sir,” said one, “We are soliciting funds for
the welfare and rehabilitation of wayward
women. Would you care to donate?”
“Sorry,” replied the executive, but I contribute directly.”

Sunny was helping his son fly a kite in the
backyard but was having trouble getting it to
stay up. His wife stood watching them from the
porch. Sunny had just run the entire length of
the yard, trying to pull the kite into the air, only
to have it thrash about uncertainly and
plummet to the ground.
“Sunny,” said the Meena, “You need more
tail.”
“I wish you’d make up your mind,” said
Sunny, panting heavily. Last night you told me
to go fly a kite.”

Getting married is a good deal, like going
into a restaurant with friends. You order what
you want; then, when you see what the other
fellow has, you wish you had taken that.
